of pages
Page numbers should be odd on right-hand (recto) pages, and even on
left-hand (verso) pages. Preliminary pages are usually paginated using
lower-case roman numerals, while the body of the book is numbered with
arabic numerals.
We print
in sections of 32pp, 16pp, 8pp, 4pp and 2pp. It is economical to limit
the number of sections, and to print in multiples of 16pp or 32pp where
possible.
For example:
160pp = 5 x 32pp sections is more economical than
156pp = 4 x 32pp, 1 x 16pp, 1 x 8pp, 1 x 4pp.
